Mochi Gang
It all started in the heart of Zurich in a Japanese restaurant while eating the most iconic Japanese dessert mochi. A group of anonymous DJs surrounded by electronic music in all aspects of their life and excited to collaborate came up with what ended up being called the Mochi Gang. They aspire to produce the perfect mixture, just like the mixture of rice in the traditional recipe of mochi, and at the same time have that aspect of modern, just like the way the dessert caters to everyone’s taste today.
The group was created after being inspired by Future Bass artists such as Martin Garrix and Chainsmokers, as well as being influenced by Marshmello Hip-Hop. Combining elements of future bass together with future pop, it serves as the palette for their productions in order to create unforgettable music for unforgettable moments.
Mochi Gang's first released song ‘Wear and Tear' featuring Tima Dee, a well known-singer who has over 200,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and has taken part in featuring on 'Calabasas', the latest Tritonal track.
The second track 'Best Mistake' featuring Zev has been just released and we are excited to see what is next on the agenda for our newbies Mochi Gang.
